Cell Phone Partnership Paying Off

A partnership between Atikokan, Fort Frances and Thunder Bay to provide regional cell phone service has exceeded expectations.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says a lot of work went into building the network but the municipal team has paid off.
Brown accepted a $50,000 cheque.
The revenue is generated through cell phone users themselves from areas such as roaming fees.
Brown adds plans are forthcoming to convert from analog to digital cell service.
