CFB Trenton Involved in Search for Missing Man

A Griffon helicopter from CFB Trenton has joined the search for a missing Minnesota fisherman in Northwestern Ontario.
Provincial police contacted the base Thursday night after the 80-year-old Bloomington man failed to return after going fishing on a bay off Lake Superior.
The man left a camp Thursday morning and family members found his empty boat at the mouth of the Jackfish River in the evening.
Two police boats and two Coast Guard vessels have been searching in Fire Hill Bay, about 100 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, since late Thursday night.
