The Canadian Federation of Independent Business is calling the recent
Ontario budget a measure of hope for small business.
The group was successful in asking the Liberals to accelerate the
business education tax reduction plan in Northern Ontario.
Spokesperson Satinder Chera says the announcement means that $70-million will be shared between 30,000 Northern businesses.
The group is also pleased with the Government’s decision to appoint a
new taxpayers ombudsman.
