Sioux lookout’s Steve Chabbert recorded an assist as the Canadian Men’s Hockey team
whipped Japan 7-1 Tuesday at the Winter University Games in Austria.
The win puts Canada’s record at 3-1 and in a must-win situation.
The National team faces Russia Wednesday with the winner moving on to
the playoffs.
Dryden’s Matt Grennier did not record a point in Tuesday’s victory.
