Chamber Reaching Out to General Aviators

The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce says the cross-wind runway at the Airport is a major asset for the community.
Chair Phyllis Van Vogt is asking the City to maintain and upgrade the strip in order to attract more visitors.
Van Vogt is asking the City to partner with the Chamber to package a fish or golf vacation getaway to the Wilderness City.
She is also requesting support to submit a bid for the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association 2010 Annual Conference, an event that would attract more then 200-pilots.
She stresses a properly maintain cross-strip is essential in both projects.
