The province has introduced new requirements for employers.
Employers must now provide their workers with a copy of the Ontario employment standards poster and posting it in the workplace.
As well, employers can be asked for self-audits at any time to ensure they’re meeting the province’s employment standards.
It’s part of changes to the Employment Standards Act.
