Canada Post is now working with a new system for sorting mail from northwestern Ontario.
Spokesperson John Caines says that all mail that used to be sorted in communities like Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances is now sent to Thunder Bay.
Caines says the move is being made to make the system more efficient.
He notes they have state-of-the-art technology that sorts mail quicker.
However several Dryden residents disagree, as they complain they aren’t getting their mail in a timely manner.
Caines says it’s a one day turnaround.
He says no jobs are impacted.
