Changes to Whiskey Jack Plan

The public has until August 29th to comment on proposed changes to
the Whiskey Jack Forest Management plan.
The amendment would allow harvesting in previously reserved areas near
osprey nests.
Ministry of Natural Resources Spokesperson David Anderson says the
protective zone would move from 800-metres to 300.
Anyone interested to comment on the proposed changes is asked to
contact the Kenora MNR office.
