A British Columbia man has been sentenced to nine months in jail after pleading guilty to a charge of fraud.
Bradford McElroy was in Kenora court yesterday in connection with a New Years Day scam in Dryden.
A Wabigoon bar owner lost about 500-dollars in cash after three men promised, but did not deliver some contranband cigarettes and whisky.
McElroy was initially charged with robbery, but police later changed the charge to fraud.
His two brothers are due to appear in court tomorrow.
