Charges Following Shopping Cart Race

A shopping cart race was cut short by Dryden Police early Wednesday morning.
4-young people were spotted racing the carts in the Safeway parking lot.
When police arrived, the racers took off in different directions.
One was quickly corralled, while the other 3-were located later on making an attempted getaway on a paddle boat up the Wabigoon River.
The 16 and 17-year-old’s have been charged with minor consumption.
A small amount of marijuana was also seized.
