Provincial Police say a 31-year-old Kenora man faces seven charges in connection to a stand-off over the weekend.
The incident took place in the Lakeview area of Kenora on Sunday morning around 9:30.
The suspect has been charged with assault with a weapon, spousal assault, uttering threats, forcible confinement, domestic mischief, uttering death threats and assaulting a peace officer with a weapon.
The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
Police say the suspect remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
