A lengthy investigation into a motor vehicle collision that claimed
the life of an Atikokan teenager has led to a number of charges.
18-year-old Paivi Lisowecki died in the October 2004 crash in Atikokan.
Police say an unidentified 17-year-old faces 1 count of impaired
driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, criminal
negligence causing death and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
The youth, who was 16 at the time of the collision, also faces
3-highway traffic act charges.
The accused will appear in Court on March 22nd.
