Former Grand Chief of Treaty #3 Leon Jourdain says its time to move on with his life and rebuild his political career.
A charge of sexual assault against Jourdain was withdrawn Wednesday, 4 months after he lost his position as leader.
Evidence was presented to Kenora Court showing Jourdain was no where near the complainant during the time of the 2 alleged assaults.
The Crown Prosecutor reported that the alleged victim had not been cooperating with Lawyers and failed to show up to testify in court.
Jourdain says the acquisitions ruined his life and he believes they were politically motivated.
He was forced out of power at the General Assembly back in June and was replaced by Arnold Gardner.
Jourdain says he will eventually take another run at the Treaty #3 leadership
