Child Care Center Amalgamation

Two agencies that help out children in this area will be joining forces later this year.
The Lake of the Woods Child Development Center and the Patricia Center for Children and Youth will be merging as of April 1st.
Jackie Mitchell is Chair of the Patricia Center Board and says its a good fit for both agencies.
Mitchell says they are looking forward to combining their resources.
Patricia Center represents clients in Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Ignace and Vermilion area’s.
Mitchell says the new agency will simply be known as “Firefly”.
