Child Services Merger Delayed

Its going to take a little longer than expected to complete the amalgamation of the Kenora-Patricia Child and Family Services with the Childrens Aid agency in Rainy River.
The amalgamation was supposed to be formalized last week, but its expected to take a few months more for all the paperwork to be finalized.
Bill Leonard is the Executive Director of the Kenora District Childrens Aid group and says the merger is still proceeding according to plan.
Leonard says they are just finalizing the budget for Kenora and Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services and want to go into the merger with a zero deficit.
