Chipping Site Debate Continues

Excess noise remains the main concern surrounding a proposed chipping
site on a 10-acre property between Airport Road and Barclay Hall Road.
Although applicant John Meek has accepted a number of conditions on
hours of operation and buffers, several nearbye residents and some on Dryden
Council say its not enough.
The wood handling operation would result in 7-new jobs directly.
Council appears to be split on the issue but will vote on the proposal
next Tuesday.
