Dryden Council appears to be split on John Meek’s proposed chipping
operation on a 10-acre property between Airport Road and Barlcay Hall Road.
Building and Planning Official Mary Anne Legros says Meek has agreed
to a long list of conditions.
n041 runs: 21 sec. out…noise complaint.
A buffer of trees would need to be maintained and time restrictions
would be in place for the wood handling site and trucking activities.
Some on Council are against the plan because of noise concerns, while
others support it because of its ties to the value-added sector.
The proposal will be voted on next Tuesday.
