They came from as far away as Southern Minnesota and Laval, Quebec just to
see Dryden’s Chris Pronger and the Stanley Cup.
The City celebrated ‘Chris Pronger Day’ Wednesday with a parade and ceremony
at the Memorial Arena.
The Anaheim defenceman addressed some 2,000 fans at the Arena
and stated it was great to return to the City.
The City of Dryden renamed Arena #2 the “Chris Pronger Arena” and
the Eagles retired his number #14 High School Jersey.
Pronger also received the “hoc-key” to the City.
He also spent the day at the Hospital where he introduced Lord Stanley
to a young cancer patient.
Well over 300-people cheered Pronger on during the parade and at the
hospital.
