Dryden Council has declared Wednesday ‘Chris Pronger Day’ and area businesses and residents are asked to get together to give the hockey star a heroes welcome.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says the City is preparing a number of events for the Stanley Cup champion.
The main festivities will be free of charge at the Arena and the public is asked to be there at 1 o’clock.
(Actual event scheduled to start around 2:30 tent.)
Minor hockey players are also asked to meet behind the Arena at that time.
Pronger and the Cup will be paraded through Town before the reception.
Here is the parade route…start is 2:00 tent.
Start at the Hospital, down Van Horne, turn onto Duke, turn left at Kirkpatrick,
left on Princess, Right on Van Horne, left down King and left on Earl to the rear
of the Arena.
