Not much of a surprise as Fort Frances Lakers forward Christian Ripley has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
A four goal effort against Dryden GM Saturday night cemented the award for the 20-year-old Duluth, Minnesota native.
In two other games, Ripley amassed one goal and three assists.
With points in 11 of his past 15-games, Ripley currently sits ninth in league scoring with 45-points.
He’s tied for fourth in goals with 22.
Ice Dogs captain Derek McPhail and Ryker Moreau of the English River Miners also received consideration.
