A number of Dryden families will receive a Christmas treat this week.
Heather Madussi is the Program Director at the Dryden Volunteer Recruitment and Referral Centre and she says this year they will be supporting some 325-individuals with a Christmas Cheer hamper.
Madussi says that includes 53 adopted families.
She notes they have more than 100-volunteers helping prepare the hampers this year.
Dryden GM has once again helped in fundraising efforts, handing over $20,000 to Christmas Cheer.
Owner/Operator Nick Beyak says says it sounds like a lot of money, but notes when you split it between 325-individuals, a lot more can be done.
Beyak notes it’s a nice feeling to make Christmas brighter for a number of people in Dryden.
He’s thanking his staff and the community for their support.
