If you’re expecting a parcel from Canada Post before Christmas, it should arrive on time.
The Crown corporation is restoring its normal holiday delivery schedule guarantees for most of the country, except Vancouver.
Backlogs caused by striking postal workers forced Canada Post to suspend the guarantees in mid-November.
Officials say incoming holiday parcel volumes are lower than expected and, as a result, their holiday delivery plans continue to help them catch up.
But they say some international items may not arrive at their destination until early January.
