Christmas shopping is on the minds of most of us right now, but how much are you planning to spend?
A national survey for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada looked at some of the figures.
According to the survey, around $643 will be spent on average this holiday season.
84% said they plan to spend less than a thousand dollars, while 13% said they would spend more.
5% stated that they were spending nothing at all.
64% said they didn’t save throughout the year for holiday gifts and 69% said they will most likely go over budget this year for their kids or significant other.
