Chukuni Communities Development Corporation hosted the Chukuni Business Awards on September 24 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Red Lake.
There were seven categories in which businesses, individuals, organizations and area citizens had an opportunity to be recognized including Business Supporting Youth, Business Customer Service Excellence, Business of the Year, Group of the Year, Home Based Business, Employee of the Year, and Citizen of the Year.
This year’s winners of the Chukuni Business Awards are as follows:
Home Based Business Award – Angela Burdeney of Sweet Designs by Ange
Business Customer Service Excellence Award – Red Lake Travel
Employee of the Year Award – Robyn Gula from Scotiabank
Business Supporting Youth Awards – Kreger’s Krates
Citizen of the Year Award – Herb Kolmel
Group of the Year Award – Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital Foundation
Business of the Year Award – Antonio’s
