City Council Member involved in serious accident

Popular Dryden City Councillor Bill Brown is in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre listed in Critical Condition with serious injuries following a 2 vehicle accident yesterday that took the life of his father.
OPP say a ½ ton driven by Brown was involved in a collision with a transport just after 10:30 Saturday morning on Highway 17 near Robin Trailer Park west of the City.
61 year old Ken Brown Sr was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Browns were headed to Winnipeg when their truck went out of control & collided with the tractor trailer.
The pick-up spun into the east ditch, the rig wound up on it’s side in the west ditch, it’s driver was not injured.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky said in a statement on behalf of City Council…”our thoughts & prayers are with the entire Brown Family at this time”
