Dryden will be able to save money on its electricity bill under a
program launched by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.
The group has established a bulk electricty program to help communities
purchase electricity for a more affordable price.
City Treasurer Linda McNaughton says they can leave the 4-year
agreement at any time.
The first 57-Municipalities that enter the program could collectivley
save up to $3.5-million in the first year.
