City Manager Disappointed With Decision

A request for the Dryden Youth Soccer Club and Ball Diamonds Committee to take control of their facilites has been shot down.
The City asked the two groups to maintain the fields in a bid to balance the 2013 budget.
City Manager Joe van Koeverden admits he’s a bit disappointed with the decision.
Van Koeverden says taxpayers fund the facilities to the tune of $90,000.
CKDR News has now loearned that user groups bring in nearly $16,000 in revenue.
He stresses it’s tough to justify those numbers right now.
