An Association of Municipalities of Ontario program offering cheap
electricity is being welcomed by Dryden.
Treasurer Linda McNaughton says the City has been looking to reduce its
energy costs and notes this initiative is a good start.

Dryden will sign a 4-year agreement to participate in the bulk
electricty program but Council will be able to terminate the deal if the
Province comes through with a seperate energy plan for the North.
