City Pleased With Election Process

Election day was a busy day in Dryden as 500-voter kits were accepted.
Clerk Colleen Brosseau says the late surge pushed voter turnout to
about 40% with over 2,600 ballots cast.
Brosseau says the vote-by-mail system had its early struggles
but in the end everything went smoothly.
Brosseau says the number of spoiled ballots dropped from 20% to 14%
in the final week of the election.
She adds the tabulators helped get results out in a more timely
fashion.
Brosseau says staff have received a number of suggestions on how to make the
process more effective and notes all comments will be reviewed.
