Dryden’s untapped waterfront will be under the microscope the next few months as the City plans to apply for funding to launch a major study.
Economic Development Officer Vicki Kurz says they will be reaching out to the public for feedback to address waterfront opportunities in several areas of the
City including the Laura Howe Marsh, Golf Course, Yacht Club and Flying Club.
Kurz says the study will look at 38-acres of land owned by the City, Nature’s Inn, Pilot’s Landing as well as private and government waterfront lots.
The comprehensive study will examine housing, tourism, commercial, recreation, and eco-tourism opportunities.
