CKDR’s float in the Dryden Christmas Parade was loaded with toys, gifts, food and cash by generous spectators. For 17 years, CKDR has collected donations for the Christmas Cheer Board and long time staffers say 2009 was one of the best hauls yet….
…after the parade, all gifts were delivered to the Christmas Cheer Board who accepted them with thanks. In addition to material goods, almost 850 dollars in cash was collected along the parade route.
CKDR has been invited to take part in the Machin Centennial Christmas parade next weekend, where we’ll be collecting for “Helping Hands” along with the Bay Kinette Club.
