CKDR in Dryden will be leaving the AM Band later this year.
The Dryden station has received approval from the CRTC to convert to FM and will be moving from AM-800 to 92.7 on the FM band, with an effective radiated power of over 36 thousand watts.
The move will is the latest in Fawcett Broadcasting’s plans to convert all of its stations to the FM band.
An intervention against CKDR’s ‘flip’ to FM from Norwesto Communications, owners of Q-104, was received by the CRTC.
