CKDR Poll Predicts Softwood Lumber Agreement Will Not Be Soon Settled

Many comments from people on both sides of the border to the south indicate a softwood lumber deal may be far away.

CKDR’s News poll found a similar result to this feeling.

According to the poll 35 percent of respondents believe that cooler heads will prevail and they will reach an agreement.

The other 65 percent do not agree as they don’t think an agreement will be reached.

Of the people who said no, half said it’s going to get another world court decision and the other half say they don’t think the countries can reach a fair trade deal overall!
