The brooms were out at Dryden High School yesterday as the Eagles swept the Beaver Brae Broncos.
The Senior Boys Volleyball squad posted a 4-sets win and Jay Tremonti says they were able to rebound after a loss in the third set.
The Eagles won 25-23, 25-23, 19-25 and 25-18.
Dryden’s Junior’s beat the Broncos in 4 sets; 25-16, 14-25, 25-18, 27-25.
Jeremy Kennedy says they came together in the final 2-sets.
The Eagles Senior Girls Basketball upended Kenora 51-31.
Tamara Duncan led the balanced attack with 11-points, while Morgan Albisser added 8.
The Junior Girls tripped up the Broncos 37-12.
Erin McColm was a force inside netting 13.
