Clean-Up Continues

Some folks are cleaning up following Monday’s violent storm in Dryden.
Heavy rain flooded numerous basements and washed out some streets.
The City received 73.5-millimetres of rain, just below the July 2001 record of 92-millimetres.
The storm also knocked out power for a couple of hours.
Hydro One worked quickly to restore power late in the afternoon.
Sioux Lookout was hit with 37.4-millimetres, Ear Falls 13.3, Red Lake 11.4 and Atikokan 7.3-millimetres.
