Talks have begun between C-N Rail representatives and the Town of Fort Frances over various crossing and trespassing issues.
If the town wants to build a vehicle overpass, over the McIrvine Road rail crossing for example, C-N spokesperson Jim Feeney notes that type of project is feasible in a partnership scenario.

Feeney adds C-N Rail typically contributes about 15 percent of the funding for vehicular crossings – often the lowest amount since the project generally benefits the local community the most.
