CN Improving Rail Lines Across North And Rest Of Province

Canadian National Railway plans to spend nearly $315-million improving its rail lines and other infrastructure in Ontario this year.

The investment includes new train passing siding on CN’s transcontinental corridor through northern Ontario to Winnipeg.

CN will also replace nearly 145 kilometres of rail, install more than 380,000 new railroad tie and rebuild 60 road crossings.
