CN Rail Layoffs in Northwest

A majority of CN Rail employees in Northwestern Ontario are breathing a sigh of relief.
Spokesperson Jim Feeney says of the more than 1,100 job cuts across North America announced yesterday, only 8 will be cut in Northwestern Ontario, all of those in Thunder Bay.
CN Rail now employs over 200 in Sioux Lookout, Atikokan, Fort Frances and Thunder Bay.
