It’s become a fixture for many northwestern Ontario communities.
The Canadian National Institute for the Blind Eye Van is again traveling around the region.
Executive Director Monique Pilkington says it’s made possible with the tremendous support of the Lions Club, health care providers and volunteers.
Pilkington says they also receive funding from a variety of sponsors and the province.
She says the eye van helps people across the region and detects possible problems.
