A mobile eye care clinic is now rolling across Northern Ontario and is currently parked at Rainycrest in Fort Frances.
The Canadian National Institute for the Blind runs the eye van and for the past 34 years has traveled across the region for those in need.
Spokesperson Kimberly Swartz notes most patients are referred by a doctor but sometimes emergencies can be accommodated.

Two volunteer ophthalmologists staff the CNIB eye van along with two ophthalmic assistants.
Starting Monday, the eye van will be stationed in Rainy River at the Old Town Hall for one week.
