Dryden GM Ice Dogs goalie Paul Laferriere has been named SIJHL Co-Player of the Week.
He is sharing the honour with fellow goalie Pierce Dushenko of the Fort Frances Lakers.
Both goalies were 2-0 last week.
Laferriere had a stingy 0.50 goals-against-average for the week and an impressive .982 save percentage.
The 19-year-old recorded his first SIJHL shutout on Saturday at home against English River and has now won five in a row.
Laferriere is now second in the league with a 2.52 goals against average.
Trevor Pereverzoff of the English River Miners also received consideration.
