The mcguinty government appears to be backing away from a total mothballing of coal fired generating plants.
The liberals are now looking at whether to keep some ready in case of an unforeseen power shortage, despite a supposed iron-clad promise to close atikokan, thunder bay & 3 other facilities by the end of 2007.
