A traffic stop on Highway 17 has resulted in drug charges against a Rainy River First Nations man. The man was stopped by Provincial Police east of Kenora on Wednesday morning. Police decided to search the vehicle and found approximately 18-grams of cocaine and some marijuana, all with a street value of $1,800. OPP say 51-year-old John Danard will appear in court next month to answer two charges of possession.
