Northwestern Ontario continues to be blanketed by a bitterly cold Arctic air mass that’s bringing wind chills of minus 40 to minus 45.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw says we will get a bit of a break starting Wednesday.
While not breaking any weather records, Laidlaw says it has been at least 30 years since the region has experienced such long stretches of cold weather.
