So much for global warming.
For the second February in a row, temperatures in northwestern Ontario were a lot colder than normal.
Environment Canada says the daily mean temperature across the region was about three degrees colder than normal.
Climatologist with Environment Canada, Sandy Radecki says because it was so cold last month, there was a lot less snowfall than usual.
Red Lake was the coldest community in northwestern Ontario, with an average daily mean temperature of -18.3 degrees.
