About 9,000 college instructors, including those at Confederation College, cast their ballots today (Wednesday) on whether to give OP-SEU a mandate to call a strike.
And, the union says if the instructors vote yes, a strike could begin sometime next month, leaving about 200,000 full-time students without classes.
Bargaining fell apart last month over workload and financial
issues.
The head of the colleges bargaining team says both sides will
likely return to the table once the vote results are tallied.
