College Strike Date Set

Students attending Confederation College or any Ontario College are on edge.
A strike deadline of February 11th has been set for in an ongoing dispute between Ontario’s community college teachers and the schools.
Ted Montgomery of the OP-SEU bargaining team says the deadline may help settle outstanding issues, which they believe should go to binding arbitration.
Key issues for the union are workload, academic freedom and management’s decision in November to impose its offer on the teachers without a vote.
