Collision on Highway 17

A 58-year-old Calgary man has been seriously injured after a motor-vehicle collision on Highway 17, west of Vermilion Bay last night.
OPP say a motorcycle was sitting on the westbound shoulder when the driver pulled out and struck a transport.
Police and Machin Fire personel attended the scene around 5:30.
The collision forced the closure of Highway 17 for 2 hours.
William Bell has been transported to Winnipeg Hospital.
The extent of the injuries is unknown.
No word if weather played a factor, but conditions at the time were poor.
Police continue to investigate.
