The new Provincial Communications Centre in Thunder Bay
is up and running.
The former site in Kenora has closed, and staff have
either retired, transferred to Thunder Bay, or accepted
severance pay.
Northwest Region OPP Commanding Officer Mike Armstrong
says they still have to do complete a few chores before
the new Comm centre is complete.

The Kenora OPP office on Water Street is still home to
the forensic identification unit, drug team, and criminal
investigations branch.
