Preparations for a palladium mine near Marathon are re-starting after six years.
The Marathon Palladium Project was started in 2011 by Stillwater Canada Inc., but the company put it on hold in 2014.
The new company behind it, Generation PGM Inc., told the federal government in July that it wanted to resume the environmental assessment project.
For that to happen, federal and provincial officials say they’re making some changes to the documents needed for the assessment, and inviting comments on those changes.
The public and Indigenous groups can submit their feedback at this link until October 25th.
